i been thinking about getting a new car, i am looking to get a audi s4, or 2000 E36M3, im hopin to get my payments under 500
really, i have been thinking about getting another car, i am sick of having a 4 dr car, i need something a lil more sporty, so me and my dad went up to the chevy dealership yesterday and checked out a Z06... everything seems promising, now ill have a weekend toy 8)

cool i allready know what mods im gonna order when i get the car. 18" RH c5 wheels w/ bridgestone S0-2's. chip, exhaust, intake, tein coilovers, full sound system - custom fiberglass sub box w/ 3 12" alpine type R subs, alpine CVA-1006 DVD headunit w/ 6.5in screen,Rockford osgate Power 1501bd - 750W x 1 Mono Subwoofer Amplifier, theres lots more mods that i cant think of right now.
reason for the big spending spree is i inherited a good amount of money :) 8)

Dam i really hope everything falls through for slowNFurious. When i get older, i was planning to buy some type of audi when i settle down one day. (a6 3.0t) Audi s4 is dope.

you should have lingenfelter (sp*) mod it for you ...twin turbo zo6 would be nice

Well thats in magazines. I believe the cobra gets a slightly better lap time than the E46. I dont go around the highway trying to out steer cars. Whats next.. a vid where I drive on the highway in reverse? BTW: Care to take this to limerock when you get your car?

Blades car is faster then a ZO6, he's pulled on them pretty easily. :o Fastmax97 you'll still lose to him even after dropping 51K into a new vette.

My car was 34k. After registration and all that it turns out to 36. My buddy got his z06 for 45k. I will really chuckle if you pay any more than taht. We'll have a run or two at it.

Here are a few lovely vettes that would easily hand me my ass. But a 150 shot, full exhaust, two K&N cones, and a MTI cam would probably be enough.
I don't see why you guys are on Blades case. His car IS a mid 11 sec car. People all over the country with 03 Cobras are running those times with similar power.
I also don't see him bashing other cars, but I do see people jumping all over him. Blades has nothing to prove at the track, he'll run times in the 11's. He's laid the smack down on a number of cars and most where caught on tape.

i never said anything about a civic. but he is running his mouth about how great his car is. and i do know he has around 490 at the wheels

Yes, this is my first time at the drag strip. I was too busy last summer because of work and then I went to school. Someone has to start somewhere. The car does not come with timeslips in the glove box and experience cannot be bought. I simply told you to come and find out because that is when I am running my car.
BTW: Limerock is not a drag strip you ignorant asshole. Since you failed to realize that it is a course where there are turns, it renders your whole post about me "shit talking" about running it at the track pointless. To answer further questions, I have not run it at limerock. But when you get your _insert car of choice here_ that can out handle me, I'd be happy to take you up on a challenge at Limerock. This isn't shit talking, this is a challenge. If I was shit talking, I would not be game to prove my point. The question for you is:
Will you take me up on this challenge?

No one will be racing anyone at limerock, unless you have an SCCA license. You could go do a time trial to see how you fair, lap time vs. lap time. But, you would have to be signed off by an instructor of what ever club it is you're running with. If you really want to see how your car handles and how well you drive, go out to an auto-x. The best event I've attended was an SHO event. Their next one isn't until september, but there are many other clubs to run with in the meantime. As far as drag racing, just because someone has what should be an 11 sec car, doesn't mean they'll run 11's. Trust me I watched many WRX's struggling to break 15's. It has a ton to do with driver.
Back on topic- I'd get the S4 #1 choice or an '89-91 E30M3.

Ah, I did forget that you need a license to play on Limerock. But if SlowNFurious takes my offer then I will take the necessary steps to obtaining a license. I am plan on keeping my part of the deal. The question is, is he game? If not, SVTOA holds many auto-xing events. We could have a shot at that if he chooses to do so.

What the heck are you talking about the S6 has 340-hp, 4.2-liter V-8. The S4 is the one with the 250hp, 2.7-liter V6 biturbo engine.

There you go, now your insulting me. I know who Blades is, I feel he's being made out to be something he's not. I have yet to read a post that says something along the lines of "03 Cobra owns all" You on the other hand seem to have issues.

And I get 1st dibs at a run after it's broken in, I'd like to see how my car stacks up. (you should be able to pull me) I knew I should've gone with bigger turbos when I had the chance >:(

You said a Cobra had a faster lap time then the E46 M3. Now what does that have to do with "handling" chracteristics of each car? yes you might have a faster lap time but can you hold the same speed as the M3 in the turns ? also the e36 handles even better then the e46

do you own a house yet ? :) Cars are awesome but someone is always faster and your car's value will drop considerably after 1-2 years. If you already have a place, please disregard *;)
