Just wondering if anyone has local access to a lift, looks like I will have to replace my downpipe sometime soon and my garage floor really sucks for exhaust work. Thanks -Nate
no lift.. but i haven't run into much that can't be done with a GOOD floor jack and some jack stands.
I got access to a lift, but I also made a set of ramps...
I used 2 2x12's 12' in length for each platform... made them about 8" high, and the ramps 8' long... Just be sure to put pleanty of support under them...
Serves well for easy oil changes and any other work that doesn't require walkign space under the car..
I end up with about 14-16" of clearance, and I just lay down a vinyl mechanics pad and slide right under..
But back to the lift... If you still need one let me know,
