06-17-2003, 09:42 AM
Stopped at a red light on memorial drive and a suv with some teenagers pull up, I can hear them saying holy shit look at that, wow etc. One of them compliments my car I say thanks, he them asks me, "dude, light them up man!" I say I can't, kid was like WTF, I explain it's AWD man, kid says ohh??.

Anyone else with AWD get asked that question a lot? I get it all the time, I just don't see what the point is to destroying a set of tires for the amusment of others.

My burnouts SUCK...I usually get mad wheel-hop, plus they are expensive with 18" tires so I don't do them anymore

My car's too light to spin.. my front end shudders (no traction or LSD) and it looks gay. In wet weather however I can do a 180 in reverse and drive forward quickly.
