The size will be 1.5 x 6
P.S I will also have a example up by this weekend.
1.5 inches high may be too big?? I was thinking something maybe even smaller and longer, whats everyone elses opinions? I also think they should be all the same font, too look more uniformed?

If you all decide on the right lenght and height, and get like 5-10 people that want them by the end of this weekend I will start cutting them Tue Wen and ship them Thur.
where are you from? Im thinking maybe a little more then a half inch, and maybe 5 inches long? thats just an estimate.
Should we have www.boostgeek.com or just boostgeek.com?

www.boostgeek.com would be the best way to get them done. 1.5 inches high is not that high at all.... depends on how long.... lets see an example ProBall before we get this going
also is there size limitations or font limitations on what you could do, or is the sky the limit ?
If you need hosting for the pic let me know and I will through it up.
These things are going to be $5 right, After all a stamp is what 37 cents

I have no problem hosting a picture, the only problem i have right now is that at work my computer is kick'n the can a little as well as the scanner. I will be gone this weekend but i will try my hardest to put the example that i made ( it is 1.5 x 8 in silver flake ) Yeah i total fergot about stamps and the coast to ship...Ummm I guess it all really depends on the size cause a envolope is 9.5 long and i would like to send them in that, cause the next step up from a envolope is 1 of those big suckers that you send blown up pictures in and those are .50 plus stamps so there is .80+ cents...So it really depends on size...you know what i mean? As for fonts i have over 250 dif fonts and 50+ dif colors, and feel free to send a font that you like to me for me to do it... but you all talk about it, I can do just about anything :)

Why don't you just show up friday also.
And if it is through snail mail you should have the user send a SASE ( Seld Address Stamp Envalope) along with the money. IMO
And are these a bumpersticker type or die cut type??

It would be 10x easier for me and my partners to get there address from them and do it like that. My mom works at the P.O sooo i am not pay'n for stamps...
And the way i make the stickers/decals...I use the programs Lxi and send it to the vinyl cutter and then strip it and pre-rap it.

That is just a example...you people can choice the font you like and the size...
It really needs to be smaller and shorter, also is it just your scanner or is the color not that great?

Like I said that is a EXAMPLE...I asked the question about a week ago about what size should it be...I really haven't got a final answer from any one. It isn't my scanner it is just the color it is Silver Flake
personally, i like the font that is used for the graphic at the top of the page.. i also think it should include the little writing below it, "western mass & new england performance"
also a flat color might be more appropriate than a flake.

Yeah...It is really up to you all. I can do just about anything...You all need to just talk it over about size color and font and i can whip them up in no time. I think 1 person said they should all be the same and i think that is a cool idea...

we deal with sign technics at work they do all our lettering i can probably get em for less then 5$ for a little 1.5x6 lazer cut sticker

I can see where you are coming from by far...It has all most been a week and no one has made any real effort to make a push for them. I also find it hard to think that you can beat $5 for a 1.5x6 lazer cut vinyl graphic decal...What kinda of Vinyl do they use anyway? If 1.5x6 is the size and you want www.boostgeek.com with something under it like lagger said in white and give me the font I will start pump'n them out. It really isn't that hard to decide, it's just seems like you all don't talk about it or something but I will talk to Admin about things... :-/

ProBall I think that you should try like and arial font or something along those lines, perhaps a font like on the top where it says boostgeek.com. I would tell you what font i used to make that but i cant remember.
Also i think the sticker should read:
www.boostgeek.com all one size. all caps or all lower case.
I noticed you had a group buy going on contour.org recently. perhaps you could give us a few more examples like you did for them.

i like the arial with NO caps.... i think if maybe we shrunk the height down a bit and extended it , that it would look perfect... I put a few on my car

I like Bankgothic with no caps. That's hot. Will these have color or no ? It'd be cool to have the Boostgeek in black and the .com in blue or red or something.

I agree, BankGothic, no caps, maybe www. and .com in black and BOOSTGEEK in a silver? or any color?
I say either bankgothic no caps or arial no caps would be fine and yes as mklaro said shrink it a bit. I would have to say that plain white for everything because color may clash with certain peoples cars? like red and silver may look funky on a blue car perhaps?

I agree w/ Jay. Even though white would clash w/ silver. Black always looks nice, if you have tint though, you can't really read. How about silver?
Yeah cars with tint really wont work with black

There is alot of good ideas right there, you guys made a good point on the colors clashing with the car...I think you should keep it 1 color that fits best to all car colors Gold maybe or White...But that is my view on it.

Different font though, for sure. "Impact" in all uppercase looks pretty good and it can be compact.

That's like a bumper sticker, we don't want that. We just want a text decal in white, no fancy colors. Maybe it should be made in two sizes.. a fairly large one if people want to put it on their windshield or small ones for the side windows.

No, thats decal for side windshields. The just picture the white background transparent.

I also did these up, maybe people could select from a few colors so one matches their car, or the plain one would be universal.

Ya last time for this. If anyone is interested in those decals that would say Boostgeek.com either post something here or email me gilbert87@hotmail.com You come up with the design color font and I'll do it up for you. They wouldn't be more then $5 a pop I would like to sell them in pair for $10. I was thinking they would go on your rear window in the center a good size is 1.25 x 16.

I think the IP should be finalized before we get decals, I don't want you to go and waste your time working on something people might not buy.
I mean, Boostgeek might not even be the name here, so even saying Boostgeek Forums could be pointless.
Also, if I'm gonna be putting ANYTHING on my car I want it to be helping the site out, so I'd rather this have some kinda of URL on there. I mean, people see Boostgeek Forums, they don't know where to go.

Yeah, you are right!!! This is for car people...Not to sell things...I'm so stupid for thinking I could sell decals on here. What was I thinking, but it doesn't really help that you have a place where people can go sell things like a Group Buy (For Sale / Want Ads) and sell audio stuff (Amp Subs) yeah that is car related and so isn't (Decals and Graphics) huh? It will happen!!! I guess I will leave you all alone and try to keep the site up. In the FOR SALE forum. this is where stuff is for sale. and He is taking our Input on what We want so we are not stuck with something we wont like and wont put on our cars. Hey guys 8) How are you all do'n. Sorry that I haven't been around. I'm trying to get my own lil web-page up. I found a dank deal. 3 years free web-hosting!!! Couldn't turn that deal do at all. So I hope to get it up b4 the NEW YEAR rolls around.
