I just got back from the dyno. When I got home, I found a great deal on another car that I want. I am seriously consider selling my car, which had just came off the dyno and tuned. It is a 93 with 149K miles, mint interior, good exterior and many new parts. Car's been reliable as hell. It is also fast

Dyno result
10psi setup 202rwhp@6480RPM
6.5psi setup 166rwhp@6550RPM

The car is 100% emission legal. The car is also capable for more boost. I just dont have it higher because I dont want to kill the clutch. If I run it at 14psi, I can squeeze 230rwhp out of it.

$6750 without the Link and the new Koni shocks
$7200 without the Link, but with NEW koni shocks with less than 1000 miles on it
$9000 with the Link/knock sensor/boost controller/big injectors/Serial Link

I can either sell it with a set of race tires, with a set of snow tires or with a set of street tires

Car is 2300lbs with a full tank of gas, looks as stock as a regular Miata. You can figure how quick the car is. Serious buyers only, tmak26b@yahoo.com

hmmm very tempting, stang2wrx was telling me bout it tonite. ive driven a stock '02 miata and that thing was crazy fast (in turns). how's the wheel spin w/ such a light car? seeing as i love light rear wheel drive cars (possibly buying an elise next year), how does it do at higher speeds? give us details on how a miata with balls feels?

When it's dry, it's actually not too bad because the S-03 I have is awesome. 1st gear is still very touchy, 2nd gear is usually okay. From time to time, you are going to get skip the tires accelerating in 2nd gear. I will be honest, I HAVE NEVER LAUNCHED my car hard. I did 13.9 at the strip with a basic 3500RPM clutch slip launch. I did it to protect my rear end and clutch. Cornering is very fast. THe fastest I have gone is x30mph. Car is managable at that speed, but I backed off because I was afraid of cops. (i was busted once doing x35mph, i dont go over x10mph anymore).

The car feels like a stock Miata (handles slightly better because of the shocks and tires). It still got the numble feeling except I can break the car loose at will. It has enough power to pass a 4.6L GT. It's kinda like a 3rd gen RX-7 except a little less stable due to the wheelbase.

You can come for a ride or even drive it if you want. The car is fully controllable with the ECU. If you buy the whole package, you can basically do everything to the car. The car has enough fuel for 14psi, I just dont do it because I dont want to blow the clutch and the rear end. (The Miata rear end is very weak). The only thing you need to do the car is change the oil, pump gas and drive. It needs nothing and runs perfect. Car is tuned, I will make sure I set everything up for you before I go too. The only thing you might want to do is clutch (not slipping now, but it slipped on me 4 months ago). It's probably on its last legs, but I can still race it if I want.

This is result from my last autox. This was done on old ass stock shocks. It has Konis now. Knowing my competition, I know i can win SM2 this year if I try

I am buying another Miata, except its yellow :)

Miatas are extremely reliable cars if taken care of well. The only year I believe you have to worry about is the 90 or 91 I beleive because of a crankwalk problem. My buddies 93 was an unbelievable car that ran great with 100k on it. I've been looking for a 90-93 Miata (I like the 1.6 more than the 1.8) in the 2,500-3,000 range for over a year now. Don't think I'm gonna find one though, not many Miata owners want to get rid of their cars :-D.

My uncle's Miata had nearly 300k last time I checked and that was two years ago, and I know it's still running today.

Once you go boost, it's a different ball park....

I'm interested if I can sell my car!

The motor used in the Miata was in fact a turbocharged motor from the factory. They are known to go more than 250K miles. Most turbocharged Miatas today have over 120000 miles on it. JDM motors are only $700 anyway, I am not too worried about the motor going. It doesnt burn oil, it runs great and works fine. If you see the car, you probably wouldnt notice that it has 150K mile son it. If you are interest in it, email me, tmak26b@yahoo.com

The Miata motor was origianally designed for use in the 323GTX Turbo AWD.

I love that motor and those cars, they are remarkably simple cars to operate and work with.
